Once you have a confirmed vocational training place, your situation is different from someone who is still searching. The visa for vocational training is the route for taking up a specific in-company or school-based training place. It should not be confused with the visa for seeking a place.
The confirmed training place is central
Make it in Germany lists a specific vocational training place in Germany as a core requirement for the vocational-training visa. Keep the training contract or confirmation, and check the start date, provider, location, occupation, remuneration and any conditions that still need to be met.
The authority responsible for your application may request additional documents. The final checklist comes from the competent German mission or authority, not from a general blog.
German-language evidence
The official vocational-training guidance says applicants normally need B1 German if the training institution has not already tested their language ability or if they have not completed a preparatory German course. The responsible institution and mission can have case-specific requirements, so retain your recognised language certificate and check the current instructions.
Financial evidence depends on the training arrangement
Training remuneration can affect how financial means are assessed. This does not mean every salary automatically covers every requirement. Read the official route guidance and the responsible mission’s current checklist for your contract and training type.
Do not treat the search visa as the final permission
If you found a training place while using the Ausbildung search visa, apply for the appropriate training residence title before the search permission expires. The search visa can support the search; it does not itself authorise you to begin a different purpose without the required next step.
